How I Discovered Da Vinci’s Motivational Quote

When I first read this quote, it changed my entire perspective of success. Whilst sitting at my desk at university trying to write an assignment, I stumbled across this little nugget of wisdom and it gave me the power to keep going. I’ve always been a huge sucker for a motivational quote, but this one is a game-changer.

Da Vinci’s Background

To hear a man of accomplishment refer to people of accomplishment leads me to think he has a pretty good idea of what he is talking about. The Italian prodigy excelled in numerous fields including art, science, maths, engineering, and architecture. We are talking about the creator of one of the most famous paintings in the world, The Mona Lisa. A man who conceptualised the helicopter and the parachute long before they were officially invented.

Hardwork Leads to Accomplishment

So, he was nothing short of a genius and what he evidently expresses in this motivational quote is his perception of accomplishment. Success stems from hard work and determination. We must not sit around and wait for success, carpe diem! It highlights the need to be proactive, form good habits, and be diligent. He connotes accomplishment as, in fact, the product of your energy and efforts.

In short…

According to Da Vinci, if you want something, you have to go out and get it. Sitting at home, waiting, or wondering about it is perfectly fine but if you want results, take action. So, if you are struggling to study, or work towards your professional or personal goals, this motivational quote is for you.
