“Sustainability is treating both ourselves and the planet with the future in mind.”
Vaguely-Vogue was set up with this quote in mind. Vaguely Vogue is all about how to lead a healthy lifestyle for optimal well-being, while also being sustainable and looking out for the planet too.
Having a good diet, and being active is essential, but it’s so much more than that. We have around 6,000 thoughts per day. I know, kinda crazy, right? The mind is a complex, fascinating matter. With so much incredible content related to physical health, Vaguely Vogue puts an emphasis on a holistic approach to health in order to feel good inside and out.
And as for the planet, I feel passionate about finding and implementing new sustainable ideas. There’s no planet B, so it’s time to spread some inspirational content on how we can embark on a journey towards saving the planet.
Health + Wellbeing
I feel passionate about leading a healthy lifestyle, though it hasn’t always been that way. Growing up, I used to pig out on junk and barely get my 5-a-day. Thankfully, I discovered the importance of a healthy lifestyle when I embarked on my studies at university. I learned about the benefits of a healthy diet and staying active and I am forever grateful for that experience.
There are so many tips and tricks to stop us from falling into bad habits and adopt a holistic approach to health that starts from within. After a whirlwind of a year (or two?!), it’s safe to say many of us appreciate the importance of mental health. The mind is a fascinating, complex matter that plays a huge role in our health and wellbeing. Thankfully, we are blessed with incredible scientific research regarding health and wellness. I look forward to sharing the ins and outs of how to feel good on the inside and out.
Sustainability and The Planet
One day I came across something that changed my entire perspective on the planet. As I was watching the One Strange Rock documentary, which talks about the wonders and fragility of our planet, one of the astronauts regarded the Earth as our home. They said that it’s not the city you live in or the country you were brought up in, but the planet that we step on and wake up on every day. It’s a beautiful one full of diversity and natural beauty beyond belief.
There’s no backup planet Earth. For this reason, I believe in following a sustainable lifestyle and doing things with the planet in mind. We can reverse climate change and restore the planet to its former glory. I hope to share the sustainable wisdom I learn along the way with you all.
Lots of love,
